Sympathy for Americans after 9/11 flowed from every country in the world, yet six years later the landscape is very different. How does the Arab world perceive the US and what have we done to make matters better or worse? How will our role in the middle east shape not only that region but also our own future safety?

Matt your work is outstanding, and is very helpful to get more insite that can help with my essay, and i am sure with others.
Are they resisting, or is it that the two power groups just can't come to an agreement with each other?
i dont think it is them not wanting it, it is a small majority of radicals among them preventing it, def a good question though
The two groups make up about 1/4 of the people in Iraq, the are just fighting there own battles and blaming their reasoning on us. They are slowing down the process of a stable government but not stopping it. I think that question is very difficult to answere completly, good work Matt.
